Monster Surf on the North Shore Allows Eddie Aikau Quiksilver Competition
While some people on the mainland are enjoying a winter wonderland, seasonal waves on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii are reaching record heights. The Quiksilver which has only been held eight times in 25 years, happens when the waves are a sustained 20-25 feet high.
